Thanks for coming to Jo's Technicolor Party!

Her recent work can be seen on The Goldbergs, Party Down, HGTV's House Hunters Comedians on Couches and NBC's Indebted. She also teaches improv workshops to companies looking to boost communication skills and teamwork (see below). Previously based in Chicago, Jo was the head writer for Cards Against Humanity and worked for ten years as an actor and teacher as a member of the Second City National Touring Company.  In her free time Jo likes to hahahaha she has two kids she doesn't have free time, honey.

TEACHING AND CORPORATE TRAINING
The foundation of improv is the tenant of “yes, and.” That means learning to agree and building upon an idea. It’s a philosophy that leads to effective communication, healthy relationships, and productive and functional workplaces. Through improv-based exercises, Jo will help your team explore what can happen when we lose judgment and add full support. The goal is to help improve team building, collaboration, and resiliency. This isn’t about being funny (though be warned: funny may occur). It’s about being open, setting aside judgment, and collaborating. When we learn to let go and trust ourselves and our team, the results will astound us. Jo has done corporate training all over the country with companies large and small ranging from McDonalds to Mishkan Chicago.

"Jo’s workshop was the ideal content for our law firm retreat. She designed an engaging workshop that kept our whole team laughing and collaborating for several hours. I would wholeheartedly recommend her workshops for bringing out the best in your team."
